Pablo Carreño conquered the Canadian Masters
The Spanish tennis player, Pablo Carreño, was crowned champion of the Canadian Masters after defeating the Pole Hubert Hurkacz by a score of (3-6, 6-3, 6-3).
"It's an amazing feeling to be a Masters 1000 winner," Carreno said after the match.
«It is the best title of my career for sure. It has not been my best season this year. I lost some games that I probably wouldn't have lost in other seasons."
With this victory Carreño rises from 23rd to 14th place in the ATP world ranking.

The tennis player also becomes the third Spanish champion after five-time winner Rafael Nadal and Manuel Orantes in 1975.
Pablo Carreno is expected to continue his season at the Cincinnati Masters, where he will meet in the round of 32 against his compatriot, Carlos Alcaraz.
